In a recent Massachusetts General Hospital’s Anne Klibanski Visiting Lecture Series event, our Lab Director, Dr. Kerns, presented a lecture on how to enhance the detection and treatment of anxiety disorders in autistic youth. Her presentation addressed the comparative aspects of anxiety in autistic versus allistic youth, highlighted assessment challenges, and emphasized evidence-based approaches to therapy.
